This is a rare opportunity to join Roof Carrier Systems, Australia’s most experienced roof rack team specialising in Roof Racks, Bike Racks, Roof Boxes, Snow Chains and Snow Tyres.
It’s the perfect hybrid role – combine your excellent people skills with hands-on tasks as you liaise directly with customers and are involved in the fitting and assembly of roof racks and snow chains.
As an Assistant Manager you’ll also be responsible for inventory management, purchasing and play a lead role in the supervision and coaching of our retail team.
Your background might be retail, automotive or a trade – either way you’re excited about the opportunity to wear multiple hats. You have managerial experience, and while roof rack knowledge or a sales/automotive qualification would be highly regarded, we’re far more interested in the type of person you are – someone who’s eye for detail is razor-sharp, who’s a problem solver and can handle multiple tasks at once, someone who gets a kick out of motivating the team around them.
The store is open six days (Mon–Fri: 9–5:30 and Sat: 9–2), a full-time working week would be five of these days.
