The fine print
A product qualifies for price matching when:
- It’s the exact same brand, model and specifications
- It’s in stock with both RCS and the competitor
- The competitor is an authorised Australian retailer (online or in-store)
- For online prices, shipping charges are included in the comparison
- For fitted products, fitting charges are included in the comparison
What’s not covered
We always try to offer the best value, but price matching can’t apply to:
- Cashback offers, bundles, bonuses, or loyalty promotions.
- Member-only pricing, club discounts, or individually negotiated deals.
- Clearance, run-out, refurbished, or ex-demo stock.
- Grey-market sellers or unauthorised marketplaces/auction sites.
- Pricing mistakes or obvious misprints.
- Items sold below cost or at unusually deep discounts outside normal retail.
- Past purchases — price matching must be done at the time of purchase.

How it works

- We’ll check it: We verify that the item is the same model and that both retailers have it available.
